Luna & Vega

Vega is one of the most luminous stars in our night sky and the brightest star in the constellation Lyra. It's only 25 light-years away and served as the northern pole star around 12,000 BCE.

Vega 1 was a Soviet space probe launched in 1984 as part of an international effort to study Venus and Halley's Comet. The name combines "Venera" (Venus) and "Gallei" (Halley).

Vega 2 was the twin spacecraft to Vega 1, launched in 1984. Together they formed one of the most successful interplanetary missions, exploring both Venus and Halley's Comet.
